Emergency Medicine physician employment in Pennsylvania : Locums Altoona, Pennsylvania Emergency Medicine Physician Job

Clinical Role :

Locum tenens opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician

Must have completed an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency

Must be Stroke Certified

Coverage at two facilities , approximately 40 minutes apart

Expected need : ~5 shifts / month

Facility Details :

Annual ED volume : ~45,000

Avg volume per 24 hrs : ~137

No vent management

EMR : Cerner

Procedures include : Intubation

Chest tubes

Central lines

Joint / fracture reductions

Joint aspirations

Laceration repair

Incision & drainage (I&D)

And other procedures within EM-trained scope
