Hazardous Waste Containers - Class B Hazmat Driver (6AM start) - 5698

Daniels Health and MCF Environmental Services partner together to create safe Medical Waste Disposal Services. We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver who can operate a box truck (26ft) across the Arlington, TX area. You will be collecting hazardous and industrial wastes from customer locations and delivering an elevated level of customer service daily. What will your job involve?

• Safely collecting, delivering, and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating a 26ft box truck in a safe manner
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading | Prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs
• Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient, and effective service
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Lifting 55lbs and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Manages assigned routes and ensures customers are servicing accordingly
• Routes will be based out of the MCF Arlington TX 10-day. Expect to be overnight 8-12 nights per month. Home on weekends.
• Hotel and Meal allowance covered by company ($35 per day to cover food expenses)
• Initial training of 4 weeks will take place at our Ellenwood GA facility and our Kentucky 10-day.

What are we looking for?

• Class B CDL and Hazmat REQUIRED!!
• Delivery experience within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling (advantageous not mandatory)
• Willingness to work full time hours, approx. 40 hours a week
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Clean driving record
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (26ft box trucks)
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections, shipping hazardous/ industrial waste. 10-day operations knowledge is a plus
• Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
• On time delivery practices
