Responsibilities
Own proactive and reactive public relations (PR) for Microsoft Advertising and MSN, focused on priority news moments.
Partner with the consumer content creator team, marketing and social teams to create campaigns reaching emerging influencers across priority verticals like shopping and travel.
Support senior leaders with media prep, executive messaging, and high-profile speaking opportunities
Create and maintain compelling content to support ongoing storytelling efforts.
Identify emerging trends to inform seasonal and ongoing campaigns.
Collaborate with the broader communications team at Microsoft to support cross-company events and news beats.
Help protect the Microsoft brand by identifying and mitigating reputation risk on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications
Required / minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years Communications experience
OR equivalent experience
Additional or preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years Communications experience
OR equivalent experience.
Experience working successfully cross-functionally.
Communications IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
