• Key Responsibilities :
• Serve as the
• lead network engineer
• for the county
• Provide
• Level 3 troubleshooting
• and support
• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure
• Lead and contribute to strategic
• network projects
• Participate in on-call rotation
• (2 weeks / year)
• Perform
• after-hours changes
• during the weekly Wednesday 6 PM maintenance window
• Act as a
• backup to the Cisco VoIP Engineer
• Required Skills & Technologies :
• Cisco routers and switches
• Fortinet firewalls
• Cisco VoIP systems
• Meraki wireless access points
• Network design and architecture
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Preferred Experience :
• Prior experience in a
• county or municipal IT environment
• Exposure to Extreme Networks
• Familiarity with hybrid work environments
• and remote support

• Cisco VoIP administration
• Conversion Salary Range :
• $82,000 - $98,000 annually (based on experience)
• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00 / hr.
