Job Title : Systems Engineer Location : Chicago, IL / Denver, CO Work Arrangement : Hybrid Client Industry : Banking Duration : 12-18 Months Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM MST Key Responsibilities Deploy, manage, and support enterprise applications across Windows and Linux environments. Research, design, and implement secure infrastructure and application solutions. Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and OS / server support. Manage application lifecycle, including hosting, configuration, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and GIS leadership to enhance security posture. Utilize PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks. Support and optimize databases and perform security-related query operations. Must Haves Strong Systems Engineering & Application Management experience. Hands-on experience with Windows & Linux server environments. Expertise in application deployment, hosting, and support. Experience with server OS support and vulnerability patching. Knowledge of Cisco routing and network fundamentals. Familiarity with databases and query languages. Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or SANS preferred. PowerShell scripting knowledge. Compensation Hourly Rate : $50 - $55 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
