Job Summary / Description

WLBT-TV in Jackson, MS, is seeking an organized and creative professional to help lead our digital sales efforts in the role of Multimedia Sales Manager. The position works in tandem with the Director of Sales on business development for the station, specifically championing digital sales.

WLBT-TV in Jackson, MS, is looking for a highly qualified candidate to be the next Multimedia Sales Manager. This person must be highly motivated to lead a team of 10+ salespeople in the highly dynamic world of broadcast and digital sales. The candidate must have a proven track record of growing market share, building successful client partnerships, coaching, training a local team, and staying relevant in the ever-changing world of broadcast and digital sales. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, driven, and able to motivate the local sales team to achieve their individual sales goals. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate across departments, ensure projects and campaigns are executed as proposed and sold, extremely organized with great time management skills.

Duties / Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Driving digital revenue growth and achieving revenue targets with a focus on new local direct business
• Providing digital training to the sales team
• Assisting Multimedia Executives in presenting and closing business
• Developing sales presentations and collateral using up-to-date research materials
• Maintaining campaign tracking, delivery, and reporting to ensure campaign success
• Working at a partnership / consultative level as an expert in digital advertising with a Multimedia executive and advertisers
