Data Science Analyst

A company is looking for an Analytic Science, Scientist I.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop data-driven exploratory analysis and predictive models to address business challenges

Build and evaluate predictive models for production systems or research, involving data analysis and variable selection

Participate in high-impact projects related to predictive model development and compliance analytics

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline

Hands-on experience in predictive modeling and data mining (academic or industry)

Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, SQL, or Java / C++, and familiarity with machine learning tools

Experience with distributed computing environments (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud services (e.g., AWS) is a plus

Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques such as clustering, classification, regression trees, and neural networks
