What We're Looking For :

Iridium is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Network Systems. As a Senior Manager, Network Systems, you'll be responsible for managing multiple activities and people, including those with cross-functional teams, to keep the EMSS gateway running smoothly. You'll bring enthusiasm about leading and mentoring your direct reports in the technical / contractual responsibilities to support the program. RELOCATION BONUS PROVIDED! Inquire about details.

This position requires an active / current Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

What You'll Do :

Foster and develop a highly effective team of technical support for Standard Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG), Information Assurance and Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACCAS) implementation to keep the cyber security status current and all equipment operational

• Mentor and train your team by performing regular check-ins, discussing career growth opportunities, giving constructive feedback, and managing conflict when necessary
• Work independently to make sure development projects align with the cyber security directives outlined by the government, to ensure successful integration into the gateway
• Responsible for customer satisfaction of contracted work
• Ensure trouble tickets are addressed in a timely manner
• Deliver contract data requirement lists and ensure the performance work statement is followed accurately and on time
• Coordinate and schedule installation, security auditing, STIG and IAVA changes, initial testing, customer acceptance testing and legacy equipment removal
• Possess a breadth of knowledge on government contracts, Iridium ground equipment and cyber security requirements

This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
