• Work in an adaptive acuity unit with 1 : 5 nurse to patient ratio on a 25-bed unit
• Occasionally provide PCU care with 3 : 1 ratio when required (non-negotiable)
• Charge nurse responsibilities required for this position
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as required
• Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
• 2 years of current med surg / tele experience required
• Charge experience required
• PCU experience strongly required
• Drip experience required
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required (non-negotiable)
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Required certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Vermont nursing license required
• Skills checklist current within one year required
