Schedule

Night shift : 18 : 45 - 7 : 15 (6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM), required weekends every other week and holidays every other.

Job Description

The Med Surg / Tele / Stepdown RN will care for hold patients in the Emergency Department (ED) or inpatient units. All patients will be in observation or inpatient status. Nursing staff will float among different areas within the facility based on hospital census.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for hold patients in the ED or on inpatient units.
  • Float among different areas based on hospital needs.
  • Ensure patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown nursing.
  • NJ or Compact RN License.
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Stroke CEUs, and completion of PCU or Critical Care course.
