ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - PACU

Job Details :

  • Work day shifts from 9 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM
  • Call rotation required for 24 / 7 unit coverage split among nursing staff
  • 13-week assignment duration
  • 1+ years of experience required
  • Patient ratio of 1 : 2 in 18-bay unit
  • Required certifications : BLS / AED
  • Preferred certifications : ACLS, PALS
  • No floating required
  • 48-hour guarantees not approved
  • Blocked scheduling not approved
  • EMR systems : PICIS / Medhost
  • Dress code : matching scrub set (top and bottom), no specific color required
  • Provide post-anesthesia care utilizing nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and other personnel
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe care delivery
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
  • Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel

The facility features an 18-bay PACU unit that maintains 24 / 7 coverage and utilizes modern EMR systems including PICIS and Medhost. The organization emphasizes evidence-based nursing practices and maintains high standards for patient care through adherence to AORN guidelines and state nursing practice acts.
