What you'll do :

Whip line Assembler responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Read and comprehend production Standard Work and Job Function Analysis (JFA)
• Ensure production materials are available
• Operate and observe machinery during production.
• Identify acceptable or unacceptable product quality to customer requirements and quality standards
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately
• Perform any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools
• Operate chop saw, cutting flexible metal conduit to specified lengths
• Pull multiple lengths of electrical copper wire through the conduit
• Cut & strip wire using manual hand tools
• Crimp electrical contact onto wire ends using a hand tool or automated crimp machine
• Perform close-in assembly work in the manufacture of connector assemblies
• Operate any equipment needed to perform the job
• Report any quality control issues to the Value Stream Leader / Line Leader
• Work in an individual or team environment
• Perform related duties as needed by supervision
