ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for someone to join our Finance team who will lead the entire accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all vendor payments! Your responsibilities will include receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices to maintain smooth financial operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accounts payable subledgers by verifying and posting vendor account transactions, and reconciling monthly statements.
  • Handle and prepare daily invoices for approval, ensuring accurate booking of both paid and unpaid invoices.
  • Create and maintain the vendor master file in good standing.
  • Process and prepare wire transfers and ACH transactions, communicating with vendors to resolve issues promptly.
  • Address inquiries regarding account status and discrepancies.
  • Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and expense reports, and recording entries.
  • Prepare non-inventory purchase order requisitions, assist departments with purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process employee expense reports in Concur, providing assistance with any issues.
  • File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PROFILE

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.

Minimum of 4 years experience in accounts payable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with expertise in Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; both verbal and written.
  • Genuine passion and advocate of diversity and inclusion and integrates this mentality when making all business decisions (both internal & external).
  • Preferred knowledge of SAP and Concur.
