This position is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced kitchen team where cleanliness and organization are key to success. As a dishwasher, you’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly by maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Responsibilities : \n \n

  • Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand

\n

  • Keep dishwashing station clean, organized, and free of clutter

    • \n

  • Assist with general kitchen cleaning, including floors, counters, and trash removal

    • \n

  • Support kitchen staff by restocking clean items as needed

    • \n

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

    • \n

  • Work quickly and efficiently to meet kitchen demands during busy periods

    • \n \n

    Skills : \n \n

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

    • \n

  • Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

    • \n

  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills

    • \n

  • Ability to handle wet, hot, and noisy environments

  • Time management skills to keep up with a fast-paced kitchen

    Requirements : \n \n

  • Non-slip, closed-toe shoes required

    • \n

  • Hair must be pulled back or covered; beard nets may be required

    • \n

  • Must maintain clean personal hygiene

    • \n

  • May be required to wear a kitchen-provided uniform or apron

    • \n

  • Must be comfortable working around hot water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment

    • \n \n

  • General Requirements

    • \n

    General responsibilities when working a Dishwasher job assignment can include :

    \n \n

  • Collect used kitchenware from dining and or kitchen areas

    • \n

  • Load and unload dishwashing machine, ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes

    • \n

  • Hand wash specific items according to assigned procedures

    • \n

  • Store and restock clean kitchenware

    • \n

  • Maintain cleaning supplies stock, transfer cleaning supplies between storage and work area

    • \n

  • Keep a clean and orderly workstation

    • \n

  • Comply with all sanitation and safety policies and procedures

    • \n

  • Wash work tables and other food prep areas to cleanliness standards
