Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager 2, Shock Isolation System (SIS) / Upper Launch Tube (ULT) with the background, vision, and people skills to lead the Launch Equipment organization within the Command & Launch (C&L) Infrastructure Integrated Product Team (IPT). This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program.

What You'll Get To Do :

The SIS / ULT Manager is responsible for the design and development of mechanical equipment, such as shock isolation systems, that perform pivotal Weapon System functions within the Command and Launch architecture. This role oversees a team of Mechanical and Structural engineers responsible for the development of the Launch Equipment subsystems through product-level qualification.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Setting a vision for and leading a team of engineers and management staff to execute the Mission Equipment scope of work.
• Performing financial and performance analyses to develop and implement long-term staffing plans and process improvements.
• Providing mentorship and growth opportunities to the Mission Equipment team and growing a strong leadership bench.

Salary Range : $122,800.00 - $184,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
