Job Description / Responsibilities
- Lead the application team in supporting Quote to Cash and General Finance processes through integration and reporting.
- Plan, prioritize, and develop solutions for both existing and new integrations and reporting requirements.
- Engage in Sprint planning, bug fixes, enhancements, and new initiatives.
- Manage technological tools within Oracle Fusion and ensure seamless integrations across various touchpoints.
- Implement strategic objectives established by leadership.
- Collaborate closely with business clients during month-end and quarter-end activities for efficient period closure.
- Continuously learn new technologies and actively support AI initiatives.
- Support out-of-the-box (OOB) and custom reporting, conduct reconciliations, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Provide visibility and clear communication to manage expectations.
- Document changes, prepare technical documents, and review business requirements while working on solution design and architecture.
- Perform system changes, proof of concepts (POCs), user access controls, write and run ad hoc queries, and reconcile data elements.
- Utilize Oracle Fusion functionalities to tackle underlying issues.
- Work with Oracle support to raise service requests and escalate issues when necessary.
- Develop operational plans with a short- to mid-term focus (1-2 years).
- Contribute valuable insights into new products, processes, and operational plans that influence overall functional results.
- Drive improvements in existing processes and systems through substantial conceptual analysis and interpretation.
- Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes of problems.
- Address a diverse range of challenging and unique issues across multiple functions and businesses.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders both within and outside the organization, including customers and vendors.
- Influence stakeholders to adopt new practices and approaches.
- Communicate with executive leadership on significant matters relevant to the organization.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across various departments.
- Manage large, complex project initiatives that are strategically important to the organization, involving cross-functional teams.
Required Experience / Skills
This position requires in-office work five days a week in San Ramon.Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP applications, focusing on technology, integrations, OTBI, BI Platform, BI Publisher, and a solid understanding of system architecture and business process flows in the Order to Cash domain.Techno-functional expertise and a strong process understanding in Quote to Cash, specifically in Order Management, Subscription Management, and Accounts Receivable.In-depth knowledge of OIC and integration services with peripheral systems.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Collaborate with business and IT teams to maintain accurate change management processes and documentation.Strong familiarity with Fusion schema, including tables and APIs.Hands-on experience with data uploads using FBDI templates.Ability to generate reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, FRS, and SmartView.Experience with master and transactional data conversions.Familiarity with software and configuration migration methodologies (version control and change migration tools).Capable of preparing technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user guides.Experience working in an offshore / onsite support model.Self-motivated, proactive, and independent with innovative thinking.Requires mastery-level knowledge of the job area, typically obtained through advanced education and experience. Project management knowledge is a plus.A university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years in a relevant role; a Master's degree with 8 years or a PhD with 5 years of experience is also acceptable.Ability to implement strategic goals.Optional Experience / Skills
Strong understanding of Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).Knowledge of RMCS is a plus.Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, CPQ, and CRM is an advantage.Oracle Fusion certification in finance or related areas is beneficial.M&A and tech industry experience is a plus.Compensation varies by location, qualifications, and experience.
