Pipefitter

JOB TITLE : Journeyman Plumber

SUMMERY :

Journeyman Plumbers principal occupation is engaged in the practical installation, alteration, repair, or removal of plumbing and drainage or gas piping. A journeyman plumber may supervise apprentices at job sites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

The essential duties listed below are not all-inclusive, and there may be other job-related duties that are necessary to perform in order to meet the expectations and responsibilities of the position :

• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications and follow instructions.
• Must be able to provide own transportation to and from job sites.
• Must be dependable, reliable and attended work as scheduled.
• Must be able dig with shovel.
• Must be able operate hand tools and power tools.
• Must be proficient with soldering and brazing of copper.
• Must be proficient working with PEX piping and fittings.
• Must be registered as a Journeyman Plumber with the City of Lincoln.
