Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in New Windsor, NY, serving preschool and K-12 students in a school-based setting for the 20252026 school year. This role offers 21 hours per week across three days, providing therapy and support aligned with individual education plans (IEPs) and state standards.
Responsibilities :
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans consistent with IEP goals and NYSED / DOE guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to facilitate student progress
- Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and compliance
- Support students in applying communication skills across different educational and social environments
Qualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programNew York State SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensureASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows consideredExperience with CSE processes and DOE requirements is preferredPrior experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly desirableExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesLocation :
