Description

Qualifications :

  • Seeking sales professionals with previous experience working in large organizations (e.g., greater than 5,000 employees) and experience collaborating with product and implementation teams to deliver outcomes for customers.
  • 8-10 years of consultative sales experience, selling to mid-market retail, consumer goods, or hospitality clients ($1B - $15B in annual revenue), with deep industry knowledge. Experience as a practitioner with a national retailer or a large consultancy serving retail clients is a plus.
  • Proven record of exceeding sales targets with measurable achievements.
  • Experience selling a broad range of solutions : digital, AI / data / analytics, software / SaaS, security, and hardware.
  • Skilled in developing impactful sales strategies tailored to retail executives, leveraging diverse offerings.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across organizational levels, both within client environments and the employer organization.
  • Proficient in modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Comfortable navigating large, matrixed organizations and startup-like environments with change and ambiguity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills : clear, persuasive, and attentive listening.
  • Capable of strategic and tactical planning to achieve objectives consistently.
  • Culture carrier who fosters inclusion, innovation, ethics, and collaboration.

Note : The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000, depending on various factors. The position may also include variable incentive compensation such as bonuses or commissions.

What will you be doing?

The Mid-Market Retail Account Executive (AE) will be a strategic, resourceful sales professional with a strong understanding of technology solution selling, marketing, and alliance development. The role focuses on acquiring new retail clients through direct outreach, networking, and marketing efforts, emphasizing building long-term relationships with C-level executives and senior leaders in marketing, operations, and IT.

The AE will develop account plans, lead cross-functional teams, utilize sales analytics, collaborate with partners, and articulate WWT’s brand and capabilities to drive new business and expand existing relationships.
