Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Hailey, Idaho.

Department : OR | OR Tech

  • Days 5x8 days
  • Unit : Surgical Services Flr 2 - # of Suites : 4 Plus 1 Endoscopy Suite
  • Average # of cases per day : 8
  • Required Certifications : Certified CST, must be NCCT or NBSTSA certified.
  • Common Cases / roles : Ortho- total joints, sports med, hands and trauma, General, Gyn, C-sections, Endoscopy, CST's are required to have some SPD and HLD experience. All OR personnel are required to help clean and turnover OR's along with our orderly team.
  • Experience : Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with strong ortho background . Prefer previous travel experience.
  • Shifts & Scheduling : Mon- Friday 8 hour shifts. Typically 700-1530. May adjust as needed.
  • Weeknight / Call Requirements : Call starts at 1500. Typically, 1 night per week or 4 weeknights per month. Will increase if staffing decreases.
  • Weekend / Call Requirements : Typically, 1 full weekend per month. Fri-Sun.
  • Holiday / Call Requirements : If there is a holiday during the contract you may be assigned holiday call.
  • What is call response time : You must be always within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call.
  • Floating Requirements : The OR team covers endoscopy.
  • Scrub Color / Dress Code : Blue- scrubs provided per surgical services attire policy. - How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation : We pair travelers with a preceptor for unit specific orientation.
  • Additional Notes : We also use TDOC to track instruments and our providers use ProVation for Endoscopy.
  • This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.

    • Surgical Tech needed in Hailey, ID - Days 5x8 hour shift

  • Must have : min 3 yrs exp. w / Strong Ortho background
  • Required : CST - NBSTSA or NCCT
  • Common Cases : Ortho- total joints, sports med, hands & trauma, General, Gyn, C-sections, Endoscopy, CST's are required to have some SPD & HLD experience.
