7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; 3 out of 6 holidays required.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, managing care for patients, and performing therapeutic nursing interventions.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

    • \n

  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plan of care for assigned patients through ongoing assessments.

    • \n

  • Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.

    • \n

  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of innovations in care delivery.

    • \n

  • Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a MS / Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting.

    • \n

  • Strong MS / Tele background required.

    • \n

  • Required Certifications : NIHSS, Telemetry, BLS-AHA, CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours).

    • \n

  • Must hold a NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
