    • Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients, including well babies, NICU, and occasional general pediatric cases.
  • Perform procedures such as neonatal airway management, intubation, UVC / UAC placement, and needle decompression for pneumothorax.
  • Collaborate with emergency department and anesthesia teams for advanced care needs in pediatric patients.
  • Ensure detailed documentation for each patient encounter.

    • Qualifications

  • Active CA medical license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of completing residency
  • 2 years of recent hospital clinical activity in the specialty
  • NRP and PALS certifications required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle neonatal and pediatric emergencies effectively

    • Working Hours

  • 24-hour call coverage from 6 AM to 6 AM for the assigned dates

    • Skills

  • Required : Neonatal and pediatric intubation, central line placement, needle decompression
  • Preferred : Ventilator management, chest tube insertion, EKG interpretation, lumbar puncture
  • Capability to manage both acute and chronic ventilation for newborns and potentially pediatric patients.
