Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day jobsite operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate field activities, manage subcontractors, maintain safety compliance, and serve as the primary onsite representative for the project.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight

Lead and manage onsite construction operations from project start through completion.

Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.

Ensure work aligns with project schedules, plans, specifications, and quality expectations.

Monitor progress and adjust work plans to maintain project timelines.

Safety Management

Enforce company and OSHA safety policies at all times.

Conduct regular jobsite safety meetings, inspections, and documentation.

Identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Quality Control

Review drawings and specifications to ensure proper execution.

Conduct daily inspections to verify workmanship and materials meet required standards.

Address and resolve field issues promptly.

Coordination & Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and field teams.

Communicate schedule updates, site conditions, and potential impacts to the project manager.

Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation.

Logistics & Planning

Oversee material deliveries, equipment needs, and onsite organization.

Manage site layout, traffic flow, and staging plans.

Assist in short-term scheduling and coordination meetings.

Qualifications

5+ years of construction supervision experience (commercial / industrial / residential customize as needed).

Strong understanding of construction methods, plans, code requirements, and sequencing.

Proven ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
