Senior Underwriter, Product Technical Specialist

What you'd be doing :

• Work within Specialty Property, a cross-functional team of actuaries, catastrophe risk modelers, risk analysts, product analysts, data scientists, database and software developers in developing new products and determining rate and rule changes.
• Subject Matter Expert on Specialty Property products demonstrating technical underwriting skills and keeping abreast of products, guidelines, trends, and state regulatory changes.
• Ensure adherence to carrier underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures to minimize risk exposure.
• Act as an authoritative source for day-to-day underwriting activities and ensuring timely underwriting actions using internal and external sources including :
