Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED) Location : Johnson City-NY Contract Length : 13 Weeks Shift : 3A-3P – 12-hour shifts (36 hours / week, every other weekend) Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse with strong clinical expertise in trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric emergency care. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of current ED experience and prior travel nursing experience . The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat acute and critical conditions. Responsibilities : Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with emergent medical conditions. Respond rapidly to trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis alerts. Provide high-quality care to pediatric and adult populations. Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per protocol. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interventions. Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and safety standards. Requirements : Active RN License (state-specific or compact license) Minimum 3 years of current ED experience required Previous travel experience strongly preferred Certifications : BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) TNCC preferred Proficient in caring for trauma, cardiac (STEMI), stroke, sepsis, and pediatric patients Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills Additional Details : Shift : Nights, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend rotation Hours per Week : 36 (guaranteed) Duration : 13 weeks (with possible extension) Pay Package : Competitive weekly gross (discussed during submission)
