About The Position

Description :

Client auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax, which can be re-added.

Clinical profile review and manager will call for the interview.

Rad badge will be provided.

Department is Radiology - MRI.

General certification requirements include BLS.

ARRT and other specialty certification requirements include ARRT (RT) (MR) and WA license.

Department has one Toshiba 1.5T scanner.

No requirement to float or cover other areas; MRI only.

Common types of imaging and studies performed include MRA, MRI of the brain, spine, pelvis, knees, hips, shoulders, and extremities.

Cardiac exams and pacemakers are not included.

Must be able to work solo.

Average number of scans / studies per day is five.

Department uses EPIC and McKesson PACS for EMR and PACS.

Department-specific equipment includes Toshiba Vantage 1.5T.

Radiology Supervisor or Lead Technologist is in charge.

Registered Radiology Assistants are not used.

Radiologist is available Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.

Starting IVs is required.

Shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 11 : 30 am to 8 : 00 pm.

Weekend requirement includes on-call only for holidays.

Holiday requirement is in rotation with two other techs.

On-call rotation occurs every other weekend from 9 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm, only for holidays.

Any scrub type is acceptable as long as it is clean and presentable.

Department-specific orientation will be given upon arrival.

Critical access hospital is not excessively busy but requires a self-starter who can work independently and with great attention to detail.

Hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment and three shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks.

Charting system includes EPIC and McKesson PACS.

BSN is not required.

License is required for submission.

This position is in an acute care setting.

Allied health division.

Shift notes indicate Monday through Friday from 11 : 30 am to 8 : 00 pm with on-call for holidays only.
