Cambridge Investment Research is a leading independent broker dealer committed to providing innovative financial solutions and technology-driven services to financial professionals and their clients.

Location : Hybrid - Fairfield, IA (in-office 3x / week)

Compensation : $105-120,000 / year

We are seeking a backend-focused .NET Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications using C# / .NET. This role emphasizes backend development, including API design, database integration, and performance optimization.

Essential Duties

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for internal and external consumption.
• Integrate with relational databases (SQL Server) and optimize queries for performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance tuning.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for backend systems and APIs.
• Work with CI / CD pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (Azure).
