Overview
San Mateo County Health is seeking a well-qualified individual for the position of Electronic Health Record Analyst II- Resolute Professional Billing . This role will support Epic Resolute Professional Billing and will require current Epic certification in Resolute Professional Billing. The current vacancy is limited term in the Health IT Division. This position is located in San Mateo, CA, but travel throughout the County to perform duties. Per County policy all work must be performed in the State of California.
Base pay range
$129,521.60 / yr - $161,865.60 / yr

Primary responsibilities will include :
Responsibilities
Lead or participate in all phases of the Epic Professional Billing implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, training, and go-live support.
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize workflows, enhance system functionality, and improve revenue cycle performance.
Provide expert-level support to end-users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and delivering solutions in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field (preferred).
Education and Experience
License / Certification
EHR Analyst II : (1) Epic Certification in Resolute Professional Billing or Resolute Hospital Billing module; and (2) maintain Epic training credentials through Epic's Continuing Epic Education (CEE) program with additional training that must be completed to maintain certifications, proficiencies, and badges.

Current County of San Mateo and County of San Mateo Superior Court employees with at least six months (1040 hours) of continuous service in a classified regular, probationary, or extra-help / limited term position prior to the final filing date will receive five points added to their final passing score on this examination. The examination process will consist of an application screening based on the candidates' application and responses to the supplemental questions (weight : pass / fail). Candidates who pass the application screening may be invited to a panel interview (weight : 100%). Depending on the number of applicants, an application appraisal of education and experience may be used in place of other examinations or further evaluation of work experience may be conducted to group applicants by level of qualification. Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications are not guaranteed advancement through any subsequent phase of the examination. All examinations will be given in San Mateo County, California and applicants must participate at their own expense.
