Job Title : Quality Manager

Salary : $110,000 - $115,000

Job Overview

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of customer, supplier and plant quality including initial launch activities (APQP / PPAP) as well as current production concerns. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive.

Responsibilities

• Supports and ensures compliance with the current Company Business and Quality Operating Systems
• Monitors plant launch activities including but not limited to APQP, run at rate, PPAP documentation review / approval / submission, and safe launch approval focused on customer requirements
• Drives all internal audit and RPFMEA activities to insure up to date compliance
• Support and follow up at problem solving teams focused on customer issues
• Manages supplier and in-plant quality issues to ensure that conforming product is available for production lines and ensures effective problem solving is implemented on identified quality problems
• Ensures all assignments of Quality Engineers and Quality Supervisors are completed in a timely manner
• Knows current status of all customer scorecards
• Supports Lead IATF auditor activities
• Participates in monthly Management Reviews
• Employee performance reviews and counseling as needed
• Ensures Company ADP systems are followed for PTO and sick days for applicable team members
• Motivates employees in a positive, cooperative manner
• Ensure an environmental health and safe work environment conditions by complying with all Company Integrated Management System procedures, standards, and regulations.
