Our client, aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting inspection and quality assurance functions. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Chatsworth, CA
Pay Range : $33
Shift : Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
Conduct advanced First Article Inspections (FAIs) using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators
Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications utilizing GD&T standards
Investigate and resolve supplier and customer non-conformances to ensure quality standards are met
Manage customer claims and rejections through quality portals and documentation systems
Lead or support internal and external audits, including supplier corrective actions and compliance verification
What's Needed?
3-5+ years of hands-on inspection experience in aerospace, medical devices, or other high-precision manufacturing environments
Proficiency with inspection software, SAP / ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
Expertise with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, ring / thread gauges, CMM, and optical comparators
Deep understanding of AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9001, and customer quality requirements
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to lead FAIs and make confident judgments
