Title : Surgical Technologist – Outpatient OR

Location : Santa Rosa, CA

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift – 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 – 17 : 30)

Call Requirement : Yes – One weeknight per week and every 2nd or 3rd Saturday or Sunday (07 : 00–07 : 00, 20-min response time)

Float Requirement : Yes – May float to Main OR

Job Responsibilities :

Assist with surgical procedures in a fast-paced outpatient operating room.

Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in compliance with surgical standards.

Handle instrumentation, equipment, and supplies necessary for various surgical specialties.

Support surgical teams with orthopedic, vascular, ENT, general surgery, podiatry, and gynecological procedures.

Ensure patient safety through proper equipment checks and aseptic techniques.

Assist in case turnover and maintain accurate documentation in EPIC.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience

Experience with orthopedic, vascular, podiatry, and general surgery cases

Must be comfortable using drills (ortho / podiatry) and cameras / light cords (arthroscopy)

Familiarity with EPIC charting system
