Must-Have : Experience in Labor and Delivery, ability to float to stable postpartum couplet care

Description :

Float to stable postpartum couplet care is a plus.

Orientation shifts are available for both float departments.

The clinician will float within the scope to meet facility needs.

Patient population includes healthy to acutely ill childbearing individuals, including high-risk cases, and their newborns.

This is a high-risk unit caring for conditions including hypertensive disorders, placenta previa, abruption, uterine rupture, and other complications.

Daily census is around 30 patients.

The unit has a mix of healthy and high-risk pregnancies.

Staffing follows established staffing standards.

All areas such as Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Well Baby will be covered.

Staff will be required to participate in various procedures and patient care tasks as needed.

Candidates should have experience with a variety of clinical skills and procedures related to labor and delivery nursing.

References from previous positions are required.

Charting experience in EPIC is strongly preferred.

Candidates must have a minimum of seven years of work history, including all types of employment, education, and gaps.

Additional skills and competencies required will be specified during the application process.

Modules are required annually and will vary by specialty.
