We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Batch Plant Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating concrete batching operations, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries, maintaining plant equipment, and supporting environmental compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical knowledge of batching systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and schedule concrete orders, coordinating with dispatch and drivers.

Operate the COMMAND batching system to prepare and dispatch loads according to mix designs.

Perform daily and weekly quality checks, including moisture testing, slump, air, unit weight, and temperature.

Communicate with Quality Control to make necessary mix adjustments.

Coordinate efficient truck loading and ensure drivers complete required inspections and fueling.

Accurately record and submit raw material tickets, driver paperwork, and reports.

Monitor and manage inventory of raw materials, fuel, and specialty admixtures.

Support environmental compliance through recordkeeping, water sampling, and equipment inspections.

Inspect and maintain batch plant equipment, including Bag House and Fourtrains Unit.

Perform general plant housekeeping and assist with loader operations as needed.

Qualifications

Experience operating batching systems (COMMAND system preferred).

Knowledge of concrete mix designs and quality control procedures.

Ability to operate heavy equipment (front-end loader experience a plus).

Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.

Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and housekeeping standards.

Willingness to work flexible hours as required by production schedules.
