Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including standard cost analysis and reporting.
• Develop and implement effective inventory control systems, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation using FIFO principles.
• Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify trends and optimize financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cost accounting practices with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with government contract requirements and industry regulations, particularly within the aerospace sector.
• Utilize SAP software to streamline cost accounting processes and maintain accurate financial data.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Provide detailed financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Train and mentor team members on cost accounting methodologies and systems.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on cost accounting metrics to leadership.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Expertise in standard cost accounting and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP software for financial and cost accounting processes.
• Strong understanding of FIFO inventory control principles.
• Familiarity with government contracts and compliance requirements, particularly in aerospace.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
