Job descriptionCall schedule includes 24-hour weekday call once a week and weekend call once per month (Friday 7 : 00 am - Monday 7 : 00 am) Setting : Outpatient with occasional call for nursery care and low-volume inpatient coverage Daily Patient Volume : Approximately 18 patients per shift Support Staff Provided : 2 office staff members for administrative support Call Coverage : Primarily phone consults (6 per 24 hours) and nursery care with low anticipated patient volume Rounding : Both inpatient and outpatient services, with minimal inpatient admissions required License : Valid Wisconsin or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Preferred Skills : Experience in general family medicine, including well-woman care, IUD procedures, prenatal care, and newborn care. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) : Epic Hospital Privileges : Required; temporary privileges available Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 90 days Competitive Compensation Travel and Lodging Covered : Nearest airport is in Madison, WI; nearby lodging recommendations available Insurance Provided
