Job Title : Registered Nurse

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 1-2 years in Medical Surgical or acute care experience, or minimum 1 year in home care experience required

License : Valid state license required at the time of submission

Certifications : BLS Certification required

Must-Have : Home Health experience required

Job Description :

• Conduct 5-20 home visits per day, depending on patient needs, with a daily productivity target of 5.2 points.
• Perform tasks such as phlebotomy, catheter care, ventilator management, and complex wound care.
• Handle specialized equipment including CADD pumps and ECG monitors.
• Provide infusion therapies, including inotropes, and manage installations like wound vacs.
• Deliver comprehensive care to a diverse population with high acuity needs, often with limited resources.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for up to 5 nights per month, scheduled on days already worked.
• Work every fourth weekend, with schedule adjustments for time off on adjacent weekdays.
• Use EPIC system for charting and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques.
• Assess and address both the socioeconomic and medical needs of patients.
• Wear required royal blue scrubs and close-toed shoes; own stethoscope is needed.
• Complete mandatory orientation with 40 billable hours subject to specific terms.

This position is not open to local candidates within a 75-mile radius, and applicants are required to meet all job-specific requirements, including returning all issued supplies upon contract completion.
