About this role :

As a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Our integrated Sports Medicine team uses state-of-the-art techniques, advanced procedures, and innovative therapies to design treatment plans that are customized to our patients' specific needs and address the full continuum of care.

Your role as a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at the McKay-Dee Orthopedic Sports Medicine North Campus , you will establish a practice and presence in Ogden and the surrounding Weber County. In addition, you will work alongside a team of 2.5 Sports Medicine Physicians, 4 Ortho Surgeons and 5 APPs.

We anticipate you seeing patients of all-ages for fracture care, sports-related concussions, and procedures, including ultrasound-guided injections and orthopedic regenerative medicine.

In this role you can also anticipate :

Practicing all sports medicine spectrum at the McKay-Dee Orthopedic Sports Medicine North Campus Clinic in Ogden, Utah, and during your preferred business hours Monday through Friday.

Providing care coverage for high school to collegiate patients.

Performing advanced injection techniques, plasma, nerve blocks, diagnostic ultrasound, etc.

No call requirements or coverage.

What you'll bring :

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

Sports Medicine fellowship trained

Board certification or eligibility in Primary Care Sports Medicine and Board Certification in Family Medicine

Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
