American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Le Mars, Iowa.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery and Med-Surg role with rotating shifts and charge nurse responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a critical access hospital setting covering both OB / Labor & Delivery and Med-Surg units
  • Primary focus on obstetrics and labor and delivery patients, with assignments to Med-Surg if OB needs are low
  • Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
  • May be assigned Charge RN duties as needed
  • No routine on-call expectations
  • Responsibilities include caring for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and general Med-Surg care when needed
  • Care for a diverse patient population including adult, mother / baby, orthopedic, and pediatric cases as assigned
  • Scrub and dress code requirements will be provided during onboarding
  • Holiday shift coverage is determined by facility rotation

    • Requirements

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience required
  • Labor and Delivery experience is required
