About The Position

Description :

Start date is as soon as possible.

Minimum experience required is 1 year.

Ratios are 1 : 1.

The hours will be from 7 AM to 7 PM, three days a week.

Typically, staff will have the day off following being on call.

Staff will need to participate in an on-call rotation of 1 : 6.

There is an expectation of a fair share of weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

Candidates must be able to reach the facility within 20-30 minutes, preferably 20 minutes for emergent cases.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Unit features five rooms and five beds.

Procedures include General Surgery, Urology, OB / GYN, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Podiatry.

Scrub colors will be grey and provided.

Day Ratios in the unit are 1 patient per nurse.

Candidates should have experience with EPIC charting systems.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and Pharmacy.

Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily patient census averages 20, with approximately 20 visits per day.

Candidates should be flexible and willing to float within the facility.

Modules may be required prior to the start of the position.

Additional information about special equipment and procedures may be provided as necessary.
