Pathology Physician

Facility in Denison, TX seeking Pathology locums coverage Rates : $2500 / day. telephone call only from the lab. NO autopsies. Opportunity Highlights

• Structured Schedule : The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM on-site, with weeknight call from 5 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM. Weekend call is also available. You must be within a 30-minute response time for call.
• High-Volume Practice : You'll handle a daily volume of 45-55 cases, split among three pathologists. The case mix includes a wide variety of surgical pathology specimens (breast, colon, derm, GYN, lung, etc.), as well as frozen sections and FNAs.
• Collaborative Environment : You will work with a team of pathologists and have phone access to sub-specialty pathologists for consultation.
• EMR System : The facility uses Cerner Fusion for charting; Cerner experience is preferred.
• Quick Privileging : The facility can grant expedited privileges in 30-45 days.
• Dates Needed : We have an immediate need for coverage on specific dates in November, December, and April, with the possibility of ongoing coverage.
