CNC Mill / Lathe Machinist

Responsibilities :

• Operation of CNC mills and vertical lathes.
• Set up and operate complex, precision machining jobs with minimal supervision.
• Determine proper machining method including correct tooling speeds and feeds.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints / sketches and machine to required quality requirements.
• Read and understand detail drawings and assembly drawings, including knowledge of GD&T.
• Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation and material handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements.
• Safely move and handle large / heavy parts with a hoist as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required.
