Motion Graphics Designer - Remote (Contract)
Contract dates : Oct 1, 2025 – Apr 1, 2026. Remote - work MST hours. Pay range : $50.00–$60.00 / hr.
We’re seeking a versatile and creative Motion Graphics Designer with an ad agency or production background and a strong portfolio that includes 30-second TV spots, motion graphics, type animation, and storyboarding. You will collaborate with writers, art directors, and video producers to conceptualize, design, animate, and produce multimedia content for marketing campaigns, social platforms, product education, and performance media. Candidates who can interpret and simplify UI, develop strong storyboards, and own projects from concept through post-production are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop concepts and translate them into engaging storyboards and motion content
- Create motion graphics, animations, product explainer videos, and visual storytelling pieces that align with brand and campaign goals
- Interpret UI elements and simplify complex ideas into clear, visual communication
- Edit footage, design and animate assets, mix sound, and manage the full post-production workflow
- Produce digital content across various channels : social media, performance media, campaign videos, and interviews
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Social, Product, Brand, and Performance Media teams) to translate marketing objectives into effective creative deliverables
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality
- Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships across creative and marketing teams
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Fine Art, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3–5 years of experience in a creative agency, production studio, or similar fast-paced environmentStrong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, TV spots, storyboarding, and product-focused explainer contentDemonstrated ability to concept, design, and animate high-quality visualsExperience creating educational or explainer videos that simplify UI / UX elementsExcellent storytelling and visual communication skillsStrong typography, layout, and design senseProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud : After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere; Figma and Storyboard Pro are a plusExperience with illustration, storyboarding (characters, environments, pacing), and interpreting scriptsAble to work independently and within a collaborative team, responding well to feedback and creative directionBonus Skills
Experience with animation and character-based storyboardingStrong sketching or illustration skillsAbility to turn around projects quickly without sacrificing qualitySeniority level
