DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer Duties : Identify and resolve issues to ensure minimal downtime and interruptions. Monitor the systems performance and availability to ensure smooth operation of the software in the development cycle. Set up continuous integration and deployment for various jobs using tools such as Jenkins and Github Actions to streamline the software development lifecycle. Containerize certain workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and Swarm to improve portability, scalability, and efficiency of the application. Migrate and manage the existing infrastructure of the company to Kubernetes by actively using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker tools to ensure seamless integration and maintenance of platform. Collaborate with the development and operations teams to ensure that the infrastructure and tools meet the business and technical requirements. Implement and maintain security and compliance standards for the infrastructure and tools used in the software development lifecycle. Other IT related things as necessary. Essential travel on assignment to various unanticipated client sites within the United States. Required : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Electronics / Communications), Information Systems / Technology, Computer / Management Information Systems, or related field (or its equivalent) 12 months experience in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, CI / CD Tools, Infrastructure code, and Scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell.
