Gastroenterology, Physician - Full Time - Gastroenterology (GI)

The Miami, FL Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting ACADEMIC GASTROENTEROLOGISTS . We are an academic, teaching, high complexity medical center, affiliated with the University of Miami.

Opportunity to be actively involved in teaching and supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students.

You will participate in the care of both inpatients and outpatients and perform & supervise the following procedures : Upper endoscopy with biopsy, polypectomy, balloon, and savory dilation; Familiarity with variceal banding & Video capsule endoscopy is required.

We welcome those with subspecialty interests in Advanced endoscopy, Inflammatory bowel disease, General Gastroenterology or GI motility.

A competitive academic salary for Miami : $335K-$400K per year depending on qualifications

Annual performance bonus up to an additional $15K per year

Licensure : 1 Full & unrestricted license from any US State is permissible to work at this facility

CME : $1,000 per year stipend (full-time employee) for reimbursement & 5 days paid absence for conferences, speaking engagements, etc.

Monday–Friday schedule—leave by 5PM most days

Minimal call, call supported with GI Fellows once every 4-5 weeks

No Physician Employment Contract
