Location : Eden, NC

Length of Assignment : 3 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)

Schedule : Days (Mon–Fri, 8 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM)

JOB DESCRIPTION : Job Duties :

• Verify patient identification, confirm pregnancy status when applicable, and obtain complete patient history while maintaining professional communication and ensuring patient safety.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MRI technology and cross-sectional human anatomy; operate MRI scanners and related systems (automatic injectors, PACS, gateways, and laser printers) with precision.
• Interpret imaging protocols, select appropriate scanning parameters, and troubleshoot technical or procedural issues effectively.
• Administer oral and IV contrast for adult and pediatric patients following approved safety protocols, verify lab values, and ensure proper contrast eligibility documentation.
• Manage and transfer images accurately using PACS, QC, EMR, EPIC, and IMPAX systems; verify image segmentation, transmission, and billing accuracy.
• Maintain all patient demographic and identification data per institutional policy.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images, maintain an orderly and safe environment, and complete assigned tasks efficiently and independently.
• Precept and mentor new technologists and students, promoting best practices and teamwork.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
