Field Engineer

This is a "road warrior" role for a 6 month scope of work. Candidates must be willing to travel to a different site every 1-3 weeks. Must be willing to work in GA, TN, NC, SC, MD, FL

• Perform onsite deployment, configuration, and validation of network, endpoint, and security systems.
• Establish and verify secure access to client firewalls, switches, and wireless networks without disrupting live operations.
• Execute workstation and endpoint setup, user onboarding, and Microsoft 365 configuration validation.
• Deploy and configure Aldridge's network probe devices; confirm proper connectivity and reporting.
• Document all onsite work clearly and completely in Aldridge's project management system.
• Collaborate with remote engineers and architects to troubleshoot escalations or coordinate complex configuration steps.
• Support remote staging, preparation, and documentation activities when not traveling.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00 / hr.
