About the Role :

Part-time driver with hazmat endorsement. Responsible for safely transporting different concentrations of vinegar (in a tanker) to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. This role is for a limited number of hours / deliveries per week.

Key Responsibilities :

• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations, especially those related to hazardous materials transport.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and its equipment are in safe working order.
• Properly placard the vehicle according to DOT requirements for the materials being transported.
• Safely unload vinegar from the tanker, using hoses, pumps, and other specialized equipment.
• Ensure proper procedures are followed to prevent spills and contamination.
• Be prepared to follow company protocols in the event of an emergency or a spill.

Qualifications and Skills :

The typical hiring range for this role is $60.89 per load and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and / or overtime.
