Responsibilities Position is within a Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting Patient population includes high-risk pregnancies such as pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, placenta accreta spectrum, diabetes, no prenatal care, cholestasis, pyelonephritis, PROM, abruption Level 3 NICU support, managing deliveries starting at 22 weeks gestation Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7 : 00 – 19 : 00) with every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating may be required within the facility and within scope of practice Responsibilities include the care of complex obstetric diagnoses and high-acuity L&D patients Modules are completed during orientation and are non-billable Candidates must be available to submit required documentation and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing Locals are accepted at the same rate RTO (time off) is capped at 7 days, with no holiday RTO for one or two major holidays; one holiday RTO may be considered if three holidays occur during the assignment Traveler is expected to work assigned major holidays if they fall within the contract No blocked scheduling is permitted Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit Requirements Active GA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor and Delivery Unit does not accept first-time travelers TWO supervisory references, manager or above (charge nurse not accepted), are highly preferred Candidates must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one full year to be eligible as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621701.
