Hourly Employment Application
Supervise operational activities to include asphalt plant production, asphalt plant maintenance, and mobile equipment in one of our plants.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforce
- Successfully lead the Company's safety initiatives
- Working knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safety
- Implement environmental processes and regulations
- Successfully lead and manage to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics
- Participate in yearly planning of asphalt plant production, plant maintenance and salary costs to meet budget goals
- Manage parts and supply inventory
- Effectively work with vendors and subcontractors planning plant maintenance and repair activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience preferred2+ years' experience in industry preferredMinimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment preferredExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsProficient on PC to include MS Office suiteAbility to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekendsBilingual in Spanish a plusWe are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $38+. Membership with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local Union No, 9 is required upon hire. Condition and terms of employment and benefits are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
