We are seeking a TigerGraph Developer with GSQL, Cloud Storage, and Performance Tuning experience to join our team.

This role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing advanced graph-based data models, integrating large-scale data pipelines, and ensuring system performance and scalability. The ideal candidate will have experience in graph database design, GSQL development, data ingestion, and performance tuning within cloud environments.

Location : Austin, TX (5x / week Onsite) or Sunnyvale, CA (3x / week Onsite)

Duration : 6 months

Rate / Salary : Competitive (Commensurate with experience)

Job Description :

Trilyon, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled TigerGraph Developer with GSQL, Cloud Storage, and Performance Tuning to join our technical team. The TigerGraph Developer will design and implement complex graph data models, develop GSQL queries and integrations, and ensure optimal performance across high-scale environments.

As a TigerGraph Developer with GSQL expertise , you will work closely with data engineers, architects, and analytics teams to create efficient pipelines for ingesting and analyzing data from diverse sources. The TigerGraph Developer will play a key role in modeling relationships, enabling scalable analytics, and maintaining robust system performance.

The ideal TigerGraph Developer will have a strong foundation in distributed systems, graph algorithms, and cloud storage platforms such as AWS S3 or Google Cloud Storage.

Key Responsibilities :

Graph Modeling & Design :

Design logical and physical graph schemas using GSQL based on domain and business requirements.

Optimize graph data models for query performance, scalability, and maintainability.

TigerGraph Development :

Develop, test, and maintain GSQL queries, data loading jobs, and custom functions.

Implement TigerGraph REST endpoints and integrate with APIs, microservices, and streaming platforms.

Data Pipeline Integration :

Build and manage data pipelines to ingest data from RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Kafka, or cloud storage (e.g., S3, GCS).

Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure reliable, high-throughput, and low-latency data ingestion.

Performance Tuning & Monitoring :

Analyze query performance using profiling tools and optimize data retrieval strategies.

Conduct health checks, index tuning, and memory optimization for large-scale, high-traffic environments.

Monitor TigerGraph clusters and proactively resolve performance or scalability issues.

Collaboration & Documentation :

Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver graph-based insights for analytics and business intelligence.

Document data models, GSQL scripts, and integration processes for long-term maintainability.

Qualifications :

5+ years of experience in database development with at least 2+ years in TigerGraph.

Strong proficiency in GSQL , graph modeling, and query optimization.

Solid understanding of data integration pipelines and ETL / ELT workflows.

Experience with cloud storage systems (AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage) and distributed data environments.

Familiarity with RESTful API integration and streaming platforms (Kafka preferred).

Hands-on experience with system tuning, performance profiling, and cluster monitoring.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
